Sync Chat
Send messages to everyone in the collaboration session.
Use Chat to coordinate with your team without leaving Rhino. Messages go to everyone connected to the session.
Send a message
Click in the box at the bottom of Chat.
Type your message.
Press Enter, or click Send.
On macOS, press Shift+Enter to start a new line.
Read messages
Your messages are on the right. Teammates' messages are on the left, under their name.
The coloured bar above each message shows who sent it.
Messages sent within a few minutes of each other are grouped under one time.
Incoming messages also appear on the Rhino command line, such as
Tomas: Façade grid is synchronized.
Open chat in its own window
On Windows, click Open in a new window on the Chat area. The window also shows each teammate's initial in their colour. Hover over an initial to see the name.
Good to know
Only people connected at the time receive a message.
Chat isn't saved. When you end collaboration, the conversation is gone.
